Review do Batom Ultra Colour Absolute da Avon/ Avon's Ultra Colour Absolute lipstick review

Olá a todos!!

Hoje trago-vos uma review dos novos batons Ultra Colour Absolute da Avon. Na brochura dizem que este batom tem seis benefícios num só: 

1.Hidratação
2.Volume
3.FPS 15
4.Cobertura total
5.Ação contínua
6.Proteção antioxidante

Nesta gama de batons existem 22 cores, entre elas, rosas, vermelhos, nudes, roxos e corais. O packaging é igual ao dos batons da gama Ultra Colour da Avon, a única diferença é que são rosa com a tampa transparente.
A primeira impressão que tive deste produto foi que é muito hidratante, mas a sua pigmentação deixava muito a desejar, comparado com a pigmentação dos batons Ultra Colour. Mas a verdade é que seja possível que as cores mais fortes, desta linha de batons, sejam mais pigmentados, que terei de comprovar assim que puder comprar mais algumas cores desta linha de batons.

Relativamente à sua duração nos lábios, sozinho dura por volta de 2/3 horas, com um lápis para lábios permanece nos lábios o dobro do tempo. Ou seja, o fato de ser muito hidratante não joga muito a favor da pigmentação e da duração do mesmo nos lábios.
Eu gostei bastante destes batons pela sua hidratação, mas vou ter de comprar mais umas cores para ter a certeza se todos têm pouca pigmentação ou se são só alguns.

Today I bring to you a review on the new Avon's Ultra Colour Absolute lipsticks. In the brochure, they claim this lipstick as six benefits in one:

1.Hidration
2.Volume
3.FPS 15
4.Total Coverage
5.Continuos action
6.Antioxidant Protection

In this range of lipsticks there are 22 colours, in wich there are pinks, reds, nudes, purples and corals. The packaging is the same as the Avon's Ultra Colour lipsticks, the only diference is that they're pink and the lip clear. The first impression I had of this product was that it's very hidrating, but it's pigmentation is not the best, compared with the pigmentation of the Avon's Ultra Colour lipstick. But it's possible that the other colours are more pigmented than this one, as soon as I can buy more colours, I'll update this blog post.

About their lasting power, they last, alone, something like 2/3 hours, but with a lip liner they last the double of the time. Which means, the fact that they're very hidrating, makes the pigmentation and lasting power be bad.
I liked these lipsticks a lot, because of their hidration, but still, I will have to buy a few more more colours just to be shore that they're not all like this.

Review True Colour sombra para olhos da Avon / Avon's True Colour eyeshadow

Olá a todos!!

Hoje vou-vos falar das novas sombras mono True Colour da Avon. Em Portugal há apenas 4 cores, "Mocha Flash", "Satin Taupe", "Iris Icing" e "Blackest Black", sendo a última a que eu comprei. Inicialmente estava na dúvida se estas sombras teriam uma boa pigmentação mas surpreendi-me. Este produto tem 1,6g e tem um packaging semelhante aos quartetos de sombras True Colour.

Today I will talk about the new Avon's True Colour eyeshadows. In Portugal there are only four colours, "Mocha Flash", "Satin Taupe", "Iris Icing" e "Blackest Black", being the last one the one I bought. Initially I was having some doubts about the pigmentation of these eyeshadows, but I was surprised. This product has 1,6g and as a similar packaging to the True Colour quads.

A pigmentação surpreendeu-me bastante, pois apenas com uma passagem fica-se com uma cor bastante pigmentada. Para concluir, esta sombra de olhos é muito boa, tanto na sua pigmentação como na sua aplicação, pois não deita muitos flocos. Eu compraria mais cores, mas neste momento só há quatro, por isso vou esperar que façam mais.

The pigmentation surprised me a lot, because with only one swipe you get a really pigmented colour. To finish up, this eyeshadow is really good, pigmented and doesn't have a lot of fall out. I would buy more colours, but right now there's only four colours, so I'm going to wait a little bit.

Review do Verniz Gel Finish da Avon / Avon's Gel Finish nail polish Review

Hoje trago-vos uma review dos novos vernizes Gel Finish da Avon. Estes vernizes têm um acabamento de unhas de gel, brilho, cor 100% opaca com 1 ou 2 passagens e fortalece as unhas. Normalmente os vernizes, nas minhas unhas, começam logo a lascar, porque eu tenho a tendência para roer as unhas, e a maneira que achei para impedir isso foi de usar verniz e ir tirando em vez de roer as unhas. Mas este verniz supreendeu-me!

Today I bring to you a review on the new Avon's Gel Finish nailpolish. These nail polishes have a gel finish, shine, colour 100% opaque with 1 or 2 coats and makes your nails stronger. Normally nailpolishes don't last on my nails, because they start chiping , and I have the tendency to bite my nails, which makes me have this urge to take off my nailpolish instead of biting them. But this nail polish surprised me!

A cor é a "barely there", um nude com um subtom rosado. Relativamente à sua duração, este verniz dura até uma semana (se não estiverem a "esgravatar" o verniz claro!) e fortalece as unhas. Eu não estava nada à espera que durasse tanto tempo sem começar a escamar, mas acabou por me surpreender. A única coisa menos positiva é que se aplicarem apenas uma camada seca relativamente rápido, agora se aplicarem duas camadas preparem-se para ter pelo menos uns 15/25 min livres para o verniz puder secar devidamente. :)

The colour is "barely there", a nude with a pink undertone. About its lasting power, this nail polish lasts at least a week (if you're not taking the nail polish off!) and makes your nails stronger. I was not expecting this nail polish to last this much without chiping, but in the end, it surprised me. the only negative thing is, if you apply just one coat of nail polish it dries considerably fast, but if you apply two coats of nail polish get set to wait at least 15/25 minutes so it dries completly. :)

Para trazer de volta o blogue e em grande, decidi fazer uma Avon Haul, pois recebi uma encomenda à umas semanas e encomendei alguns artigos de maquilhagem novos para vos mostrar. Estes produtos são mais precisamente de olhos, lábios e unhas.

To bring back the blog, I decided to make an Avon Haul, because I received a package a few weeks ago and bought some make up items to show you. These products are mostly for eyes, lips and nails.

Os produtos que comprei foram/ The products I bought were:

Nails of the Week #6 / Unhas da Semana #6

Olá a todos!! 

Hoje trago-vos mais um "Unhas da Semana", pois ainda não consegui preparar os outros posts que tenho planeado, sendo um deles um tutorial que tenho de fotografar outra vez. :/ Mas voltando às unhas, esta semana quis experimentar uma técnica que vi num vídeo no youtube, que cria um efeito degradé. E não é preciso muitas coisas, apenas verniz para as unhas, uma sombra de olhos mais escura ou mais clara e um pincel.

Today I bring to you another "NOTW", because I didn't have time to prepare the other blog posts yet, being one of them a tutorial that I have to take the pictures again. :/ But going back to the nails, this week I wanted to try a different tecnique that I saw on a youtube video, which creates a nice degradé. And you don't need a lot of things, just some nail polish, a darker or brighter eyeshadow and a flat brush.

Fase 1 - Antes mais apliquei uma camada de verniz transparente. First of all, I aplied a coat of clear nailpolish.

Fase 2 - Depois de secar, aplica-se duas camadas do teu verniz preferido. After it dries up, aply two coats of your favorite nailpolish.

Fase 3 - Nesta fase já iremos precisar de um pincel de sombra e de uma sombra de olhos, ou mais escura ou mais clara, e aos poucos fazer o degradé desejado. In this fase you'll need a flat brush and an eyeshadow, darker or brighter, and little by little create the wished degradé.

Fase 4 - Depois desta fase basta aplicar uma camada de verniz transparente para selar tudo e tirar os excessos com acetona. After this fase, just aply a coat of clear nailpolish to seal everything and clean the excess with acetone.

Nails of the Week #5 / Unhas da Semana #5

Olá a todos!!!!

Hoje é dia de mais um "Unhas da Semana", e quis fazer algo um pouco mais "complicado" para mim, pois normalmente pinto as unhas só com uma cor. Então decidi fazer algo diferente e usar mais do que uma cor. ;)

Today is the day of another "Nails of the Week", and I wanted to do someyhing a little bit more "complicated" for me, because I normally just paint my nails with only one colour. ;)

Fase 1 - Pinta as unhas com um verniz transparente. Paint the nails with a clear nailpolish.

 Fase 2 - Depois pinta metade da unha com um tom mais claro. Then paint half of the nail with a lighter nail polish.

Fase 3 - Pinta a outra metade com um tom mais escuro. Paint the other half of the nail with a darker nail polish.

Fase 4 - Depois do verniz secar, desenha uma linha com um tom mais escuro, entre os outros dois tons. After the nail polish dries, draw a line between the two colours with a darker colour.

Fase 5 - Depois do verniz secar, basta aplicar uma camada de verniz transparente e já está. After the nail polish dries, you just need to apply a coat of clear nailpolish and you're set.

Review Avon make up Setting Spray

Hoje trago-vos mais uma review do novo Spray de Fixação da Avon, que tive a experimentar nestes últimos tempos. Este produto é novo na Avon, pois nunca houve um produto com esta finalidade, lançado na revista em Portugal. Já tinha ouvido falar deste tipo de produtos em outra marcas de cosmética, mas nunca tinha tido a oportunidade de experimentar. Então decidi comprar este e experimentá-lo.

Today I bring to you a review on the new Avon's Make Up Setting Spray, that I've trying out for the last previous days. This product is new at Avon, because there was never a product with this purpose, launched on the brochure in Portugal. I had already heard about these type of products of another make up brands, but I never had the opportunity to try. So I decides to give it a try and buy it.

No início nem sabia o que pensar, pois nunca tinha experimentado nenhum produto assim. Depois de aplicar a maquilhagem fui buscar este produto e borrifei-o umas quantas vezes, deixei secar e lá segui com o meu dia. Durante o dia não apliquei mais vez nenhuma o produto. Mas quando cheguei a casa, ao fim do dia, fui ver ao espelho e não fiquei nada surpreendida, pois no nariz, queixo e abaixo das bochechas, este produto não tinha feito diferença nenhuma. Então no dia seguinte decidi experimentar outra vez, mas desta vez levei o produto comigo na mala para ir aplicando ao longo do dia. E desta vez, quando cheguei a casa já notei diferença. A maquilhagem aguentara-se mais tempo no rosto, excepto no nariz e no queixo, pois são zonas do meu rosto que têm tendência a ficarem mais oleosas. 

In the beginning I didn't know what to think because I had never tried a product like this one. After I aplied my make up, I sprayed this product in my face a few times, I let it dry and went on with my day. During the day, I didn't aply this product again. When I arrived home, at the end of the day, I went to look at my face in the mirror and I was not surprised, because in the nose, chin and below my checks, this product didn't work. So in the next day I decided to try again, but this time I took it with me on my purse, and aplyed it once more during the day. And this time, when I arrived home I noticed a difference. My make up stayed on a lot better and longer, except for my nose and chin, but those are the areas of my face that have the tendency to get more oily.

Ou seja, recomendo este produto? Sim, mas tenham sempre em conta que este produto resulta se for aplicado no mínimo duas vezes por dia. E se tiverem pele oleosa, no mínimo 3/4 vezes por dia.

So, Would I recomend this product? Yes, but keep in mind that this product works if you aply it at least two times a day. And if you have oily skin, at least 3/4 times a day.

Perfeitamente! Foi um gloss da Shiseido. Perfectly! It was a Shiseido's gloss.

2. Descreve a máscara de pestanas perfeita. Já encontraste uma assim?/ Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
Para mim a máscara perfeita é aquela que me dá comprimento e volume às pestanas. Ainda não encontrei uma máscara de pestanas que faz isso tudo, mas já encontrei duas máscaras para pestanas que quando juntas dá esse efeito. ;) To me the best mascara is the one that gives lenght and volume. I still haven't found a mascara that does it all but I found two mascaras that when combined give the effect that I want.

3. Que tipo de cobertura preferes numa base?/ What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?
De média a alta. Medium to high coverage.

4. Marca mais cara preferida./ Favorite high end brand?
Sinceramente não sei, pois nunca experimentei um marca cara. Honestly I don't know because I never tried an high end brand.

5. Que marcas de cosméticos sempre quiseste experimentar mas ainda não conseguiste?/ What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't?

Pelo menos uma vez por mês, e gosto de comprar um produto aqui e ali. I shop for make up at least once a month, and I like to pick up an item here and there.

11. Tens um limite no que gastar em maquilhagem ou gastas livremente?/ Do you have a "beauty budget" or you spend freely? 
Sim tenho um limite, 20/25 euros por mês. Yes I do, 20/25 euros per month.

12. Usas cupões e saldos quando vais comprar maquilhagem?/ Do you utilize coupons, rewards cards and sales when you shop for cosmetics?
Claro, mas em Portugal tenho alguma dificuldade em encontrar cupões ou saldos em maquilhagem. Of course, but in Portugal, it's a little bit difficult to find coupons or sales in make up.

13. Qual é o produto que mais compras?/ What type of product do you buy the most of?
Batons. Lipsticks.

14. Há alguma marca que não suportes?/ Is there a brand that you absolutely can't stand?
Oriflame.

Nem por isso. Not really.

Aplico primeiro a base e depois o corretor. First I apply foundation and then concealer.

29. Já consideraste ter aulas de maquilhagem?/ Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?
Claro!!! Só ainda não tive por razões monetárias. Of course!!! I didn't have any classes yet because I have no money.

30. O que é que gostas na maquilhagem?/ What do you love about makeup?
O que eu gosto mesmo é o fato de podermos tranformar uma pessoa de maneira a fazê-la sentir-se mais confiante consigo mesma. What I love about make up is the fact that it can tranform a person in a way that makes the other person feel more confidant about herself.

Review dos vernizes Speed Dry+ da Avon/ Avon's Speed Dry+ nailpolish review

Hoje trago-vos uma review dos vernizes Speed Dry+ da Avon, que são uma versão de secagem mais rápida da linha Nailwear Pro+. Estes vernizes são muito bons, porque a sua pigmentação é ótima, com duas passagens e têm-se uma cor opaca, a sua duração ainda melhor, pois dura por volta de 5/ 6 dias sem começar a escamar. As cores que tenho são:

Today I bring to you a review about Avon's Speed Dry+ nailpolish, which is a faster drying line of the Nailwear Pro+. These nailpolishes are really good, because of its pigmentation, in which you only need two coats to have an opaque colour, and they last for about 5/6 days on your nails without chiping. The colours I own are:

1. Smoky Plumes (um roxo escuro cintilante/ a dark purple)

2. Gray Flash (um cinzento brilhante/ a sparkling gray)

3. Don't be Jaded (um turquesa mate/ a matte turquoise)

4. Fast Time Teal (um azul mate/ a matte blue)

Em geral estes vernizes são muito bons e com uma seleção de cores grande, ou seja, há tons para todos!! ;) Eu pessoalmente prefiro esta linha de vernizes à Nailwear Pro+ porque sou daquele tipo de pessoa que gosta de andar com as unhas arranjadas mas não tem paciência para estar à espera que o verniz seca, logo estes são perfeitos para mim! ^3^

Overall, these nail polishes are really good and have a big selection of colours, which means there are colours for everyone!! ;)

Personally I prefer this line of nail polishes to the Nailwear Pro+ line because I'm that type of person that likes to have her nails looking good but does not have the patience to wait for the nail polish to dry up, so these nail polishes are perfect for me! ^3^
