Review Avon make up Setting Spray

Olá a todos!!!

Hoje trago-vos mais uma review do novo Spray de Fixação da Avon, que tive a experimentar nestes últimos tempos. Este produto é novo na Avon, pois nunca houve um produto com esta finalidade, lançado na revista em Portugal. Já tinha ouvido falar deste tipo de produtos em outra marcas de cosmética, mas nunca tinha tido a oportunidade de experimentar. Então decidi comprar este e experimentá-lo.

Today I bring to you a review on the new Avon's Make Up Setting Spray, that I've trying out for the last previous days. This product is new at Avon, because there was never a product with this purpose, launched on the brochure in Portugal. I had already heard about these type of products of another make up brands, but I never had the opportunity to try. So I decides to give it a try and buy it.

No início nem sabia o que pensar, pois nunca tinha experimentado nenhum produto assim. Depois de aplicar a maquilhagem fui buscar este produto e borrifei-o umas quantas vezes, deixei secar e lá segui com o meu dia. Durante o dia não apliquei mais vez nenhuma o produto. Mas quando cheguei a casa, ao fim do dia, fui ver ao espelho e não fiquei nada surpreendida, pois no nariz, queixo e abaixo das bochechas, este produto não tinha feito diferença nenhuma. Então no dia seguinte decidi experimentar outra vez, mas desta vez levei o produto comigo na mala para ir aplicando ao longo do dia. E desta vez, quando cheguei a casa já notei diferença. A maquilhagem aguentara-se mais tempo no rosto, excepto no nariz e no queixo, pois são zonas do meu rosto que têm tendência a ficarem mais oleosas. 

In the beginning I didn't know what to think because I had never tried a product like this one. After I aplied my make up, I sprayed this product in my face a few times, I let it dry and went on with my day. During the day, I didn't aply this product again. When I arrived home, at the end of the day, I went to look at my face in the mirror and I was not surprised, because in the nose, chin and below my checks, this product didn't work. So in the next day I decided to try again, but this time I took it with me on my purse, and aplyed it once more during the day. And this time, when I arrived home I noticed a difference. My make up stayed on a lot better and longer, except for my nose and chin, but those are the areas of my face that have the tendency to get more oily.

Ou seja, recomendo este produto? Sim, mas tenham sempre em conta que este produto resulta se for aplicado no mínimo duas vezes por dia. E se tiverem pele oleosa, no mínimo 3/4 vezes por dia.

So, Would I recomend this product? Yes, but keep in mind that this product works if you aply it at least two times a day. And if you have oily skin, at least 3/4 times a day.

Perfeitamente! Foi um gloss da Shiseido. Perfectly! It was a Shiseido's gloss.

2. Descreve a máscara de pestanas perfeita. Já encontraste uma assim?/ Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
Para mim a máscara perfeita é aquela que me dá comprimento e volume às pestanas. Ainda não encontrei uma máscara de pestanas que faz isso tudo, mas já encontrei duas máscaras para pestanas que quando juntas dá esse efeito. ;) To me the best mascara is the one that gives lenght and volume. I still haven't found a mascara that does it all but I found two mascaras that when combined give the effect that I want.

3. Que tipo de cobertura preferes numa base?/ What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?
De média a alta. Medium to high coverage.

4. Marca mais cara preferida./ Favorite high end brand?
Sinceramente não sei, pois nunca experimentei um marca cara. Honestly I don't know because I never tried an high end brand.

5. Que marcas de cosméticos sempre quiseste experimentar mas ainda não conseguiste?/ What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't?

Não. No.

O meu batom da Avon Ultra Colour Rich em "Latte". My Avon's Ultra Colour Rich lipstick in "latte".

10. Com que frequência compras maquilhagem? Gostas de comprar um produto aqui e ali ou preferes compras muitos de umas vez só?/ How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?
Pelo menos uma vez por mês, e gosto de comprar um produto aqui e ali. I shop for make up at least once a month, and I like to pick up an item here and there.

11. Tens um limite no que gastar em maquilhagem ou gastas livremente?/ Do you have a "beauty budget" or you spend freely? 
Sim tenho um limite, 20/25 euros por mês. Yes I do, 20/25 euros per month.

12. Usas cupões e saldos quando vais comprar maquilhagem?/ Do you utilize coupons, rewards cards and sales when you shop for cosmetics?
Claro, mas em Portugal tenho alguma dificuldade em encontrar cupões ou saldos em maquilhagem. Of course, but in Portugal, it's a little bit difficult to find coupons or sales in make up.

13. Qual é o produto que mais compras?/ What type of product do you buy the most of?
Batons. Lipsticks.

14. Há alguma marca que não suportes?/ Is there a brand that you absolutely can't stand?
Oriflame.

Nem por isso. Not really.

Aplico primeiro a base e depois o corretor. First I apply foundation and then concealer.

29. Já consideraste ter aulas de maquilhagem?/ Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?
Claro!!! Só ainda não tive por razões monetárias. Of course!!! I didn't have any classes yet because I have no money.

30. O que é que gostas na maquilhagem?/ What do you love about makeup?
O que eu gosto mesmo é o fato de podermos tranformar uma pessoa de maneira a fazê-la sentir-se mais confiante consigo mesma. What I love about make up is the fact that it can tranform a person in a way that makes the other person feel more confidant about herself.

Review dos vernizes Speed Dry+ da Avon/ Avon's Speed Dry+ nailpolish review

Olá a todos!!

Hoje trago-vos uma review dos vernizes Speed Dry+ da Avon, que são uma versão de secagem mais rápida da linha Nailwear Pro+. Estes vernizes são muito bons, porque a sua pigmentação é ótima, com duas passagens e têm-se uma cor opaca, a sua duração ainda melhor, pois dura por volta de 5/ 6 dias sem começar a escamar. As cores que tenho são:

Today I bring to you a review about Avon's Speed Dry+ nailpolish, which is a faster drying line of the Nailwear Pro+. These nailpolishes are really good, because of its pigmentation, in which you only need two coats to have an opaque colour, and they last for about 5/6 days on your nails without chiping. The colours I own are:

1. Smoky Plumes (um roxo escuro cintilante/ a dark purple)

2. Gray Flash (um cinzento brilhante/ a sparkling gray)

3. Don't be Jaded (um turquesa mate/ a matte turquoise)

4. Fast Time Teal (um azul mate/ a matte blue)

Em geral estes vernizes são muito bons e com uma seleção de cores grande, ou seja, há tons para todos!! ;) Eu pessoalmente prefiro esta linha de vernizes à Nailwear Pro+ porque sou daquele tipo de pessoa que gosta de andar com as unhas arranjadas mas não tem paciência para estar à espera que o verniz seca, logo estes são perfeitos para mim! ^3^

Overall, these nail polishes are really good and have a big selection of colours, which means there are colours for everyone!! ;)

Personally I prefer this line of nail polishes to the Nailwear Pro+ line because I'm that type of person that likes to have her nails looking good but does not have the patience to wait for the nail polish to dry up, so these nail polishes are perfect for me! ^3^

Unhas da semana #4/ Nails of the Week #4

Olá a todos!!!

Hoje é dia de mais um "unhas da semana", e desta vez trago-vos uma manicure francesa um pouco diferente, relativamente à cor, pois optei por utilizar um verniz transparente e um tom cinza. Esta semana quis algo mais simples, daí não ter elaborado muito.

Hello everyone!!

Today is the day of another "nails of the week", and this time I bring to you a french manicure with a twist, instead of having the white tip I used a grey colour. This week I wanted something more simple that's why I dindn't do something too elaborate.

Estes são os produtos necessários/ These are the products you need:
- Avon Nailwear Pro+ "Clear"
- Avon Speed Dry+ "Gray Flash"
- Yves Rocher Nail Strips

Fase 1/ Fase 1

Aplica uma camada de verniz transparente / Apply a coat of clear nailpolish

Fase 2/ Fase 2

Aplica as tiras autoculantes nas unhas e aplica uma camada de verniz cinzento na área desejada / Apply the nail strips and then a coat of gray nailpolish on the wanted area

Fase 3/ Fase 3

Depois de secar, aplica uma camada de verniz transparente para selar tudo / After everything is dry, apply a coat of clear nailpolish to seal everything

Review dos Batons Kiss n' Go *Edição Limitada São Valentim*/ Kiss n' Go lipstick review *Valentine's Day Limited Edition*

Hoje trago-vos uma review dos batons da Colortrend, mais precisamente da edição limitada de São Valentim. Esta coleção consistia em 4 batons, uma máscara para pestanas e uns lápis para olhos, mas eu apenas comprei dois dos batons nas cores "Huggable" e "Smoochable". Devo dizer que fiquei um bocado desapontada com as cores, pois na brochura pareciam uma coisa mas no fim eram completamente diferentes. Mas tirando esse aspeto, a sua fórmula melhorou consideravelmente e o packaging adequa-se à ocasião perfeitamente.

Today I bring to you a review of the Colortrend's Kiss n' Go lipsticks, more precisely of the Limited Edition for Valentine's Day. This colection has 4 lipsticks, one mascara and eyeliners, but I only bought two of the lipsticks in the colours "Huggable" and "Smoochable". I must say I was a little disapointed with the colours, because in the brochure the colours were totally diferent. But putting that aside, the formula improved a lot and the packaging matches the occasion perfectly.

Estes batons dão a sensação de que estamos a aplicar manteiga nos lábios, pois a sua textura e aplicação é super suave, já relativamente à sua pigmentação é boa mas também não é super pigmentado, ou seja para conseguir estas cores é necessário umas duas ou três passagens. Apesar de as cores não serem aquilo que estava à espera, gosto bastante da cor "smoochable", mas a cor "huggable" nem vê-la, pois é uma cor de batom que não gosto de ver em mim, o mais provável é desinfetar com álcool e vender a alguêm.

These lipsticks are like aplying butter in your lips, because of their smooth texture and aplication. About their pigmentation, it's good but not super pigmented, which means that for you to get this colour you must aply it 2 or 3 times. Even though the colours were not what I expected, I really like the colour "Smoochable", but the colour "Huggable" I hate it, because it's a shade that does not look good on me. I think I might sell this lipstick, sanatize it with alchool and sell it to someone.

SuperShock Max mascara Review

Olá a todos!!!

Hoje trago-vos uma review de uma das minhas máscaras de pestanas preferidas da Avon, mais precisamente a SuperShock Max. Neste momento tenho uma versão limitada que a Avon lançou à coisa de duas brochuras atrás, mas também já tive esta máscara de pestanas no seu packaging normal, ou seja, esta já é a segunda que compro, para verem bem o quanto gosto deste produto, e quando está a um preço mais em conta, melhor ainda!! A única coisa que tenho a dizer de negativo é que raramente se encontra a versão à prova de água na brochura, nem sei se ainda a vendem. Mas, tirando isso, ADORO ADORO ADORO!!!!! Faz as minhas pestanas ficarem longas, não deixa grumos, e seca rapidamente.

Today I bring to you a new review of one of my favourites mascaras from Avon, the SuperShock Max mascara. Right now I have a limited edition version of this mascara, that Avon started selling a while back, more preciselly two brochures ago, but I had this mascara before in the normal packaging, which means this is the second one I buy. As you can see I love this mascara, and when its price is lower, even better!! The only negative thing about this product is that you can't find the waterproof version almost never, I don't even know if they sell it anymore. But, putting that aside, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara!!!!! It makes my eyelashes look longer, it does not leave any big marcara residues and it dries quickly.

Na brochura dizem que esta máscara para pestanas dá volume até 15x mais e não deixa grumos. Em relação ao volume, não concordo muito, na minha opinião, alonga bastante as pestanas não dá muito volume. Talvez se se aplicar umas 3 camadas, dará esse efeito, mas depois também se corre o risco de se ficar com as pestanas todas coladas. Mas em relação a não deixar grumos, completamente de acordo!

On the brochure they claim that this mascara gives up to 15x more volume and leaves no big mascara residues. About the 15x more volume, I don't agree, because, in my opinion, this mascara alongates your eyelashes to the max, but gives almost no volume. Maybe if you apply 3 or more coats of this mascara, but then you'll end up your eyelashes all glued together. About the big mascara residues, totally agree!

Quartetos de sombras True Colour da Avon / Avon's True Colour Eyeshadow Quad

Olá a todos!!

Hoje é dia de mais uma review, desta vez dos quartetos de sombras True Colour da Avon. Estes quartetos dão muito jeito para se ter quando se viaja ou até mesmo para ter na mala para se puder criar um look novo a qualquer altura. Inicialmente tinha comprado apenas um dos quartetos mas depois acabei por comprar mais um na minha encomenda da Avon mais recente. São muito fáceis de aplicar, a sua pigmentação é boa (não é excelente, mas mesmo assim é muito boa para o seu preço), a numeração das sombras torna muito fácil criar um look em menos de cinco minutos e para terminar dá mesmo muito jeito para ter na mala. O único aspeto negativo que tenho a apontar é o fato de serem ligeiramente poeirentas.

Today is the day of another review, but this time of the Avon's True Colour Eyeshadow Quad. These eyeshadow quads are really handy to when you're travelling or even to have on your purse to make a new look any time. Initially I only bought one of the eyeshadow quads but then I ended up buying another one on my most recent package from Avon. They are really easy to aply, their pigmentation is good (not excellent but for the price they're really good), the numbers on the eyeshadows make it really easy to create a look under five minutes and to finish up, it's really handy to have on your purse. The only negative thing I have to say about this product it's that is slightly powdery.

Today's the day of another blog post and I decided to write about something I want to do, "Project Pan", which consists in chosing n make up, skin care and body products, and use only those products until you finish them. The products I want to use up:

Quero terminar estas três sombras, porque já as tenho há muito tempo. Apesar de adorar a cor champanhe.

I want to use up these three eyeshadows, because I have them for too long. Even though I love the champagne color eyeshadow.

Este duo de sombras, apesar de gostar muito das cores, uma das sombras já começa a mostrar sinais de que o prazo de validade aproxima-se.

This eyeshadow duo, even though I love the colours, one of the eyeshadows is starting to show signs that is going bad.

Esta sombra creme, apesar de adorar a cor e este produto, demora muito tempo a usar até ao fim e como não tenho usado quero voltar a utilizar este produto e acabá-lo.

This creme eyeshadow, even though I love the colour and this product, it takes a long time to use up, and since I haven't been using it, I want to start using it again and finish it.

 Este corretor não resultou comigo, mas mesmo assim quero acabá-lo, porque consigo utilizá-lo no resto da minha face sem ser na zona das olheiras.

This concealer didn't work for me, but still I want to finish it, because I can use it on the rest of my face except under the eyes.

Esta base não é uma das minhas favoritas, mas mesmo assim quero acabá-la. Porque a sua pigmentação não é a melhor.

This foundation is not my favourite, but still I want to use it up. Its coverage is not the best.

 Este é um dos meus batons preferidos, mas ficou descontinuado, então acabei por encontrar outros batons que substituem este. Mas antes quero terminar este, para poder começar a usar outro de tom semelhante.

This is one of my favorite lipsticks, but it's discontinued, so I ended up finding other lipsticks that take the place of this one. But before I want to finish this one up, so I can start using other lipsticks with a similar tone.

Este batom apesar de todas as suas características, tem uma cor que não me fica muito bem, e como disse anteriormente uso-o sempre como base para outros batons vermelhos. Mas a razão principal porque quero acabar este batom é porque está quase a passar a validade e já não falta muito para acabar.

This lipstick, as a colour that doesn't suit me, and as I said before I always wear it as a base to other red lipsticks. But the main reason why I want to finish this lipstick it's because the expiration date is finishing.

Estes são os produtos que vou tentar acabar nos próximos meses, e irei fazer um update todos os meses para saberem como está a correr. Eu não irei deixar de comprar maquilhagem por causa das reviews que faço no blog, mas a verdade é que eu faço as reviews e depois não uso mais os produtos, só volto a utilizá-los quando acabam aqueles que estou a usar atualmente, o que faz com que nenhum produto que eu tenho se estrague. ;)

These are the products I want to use up in the next months, and I will be doing monthly updates so you'll know how it's going. I will not stop buing make up because of the reviews I do on the blog, but the truth is, I do the reviews and then I stop using the products. I only start using them againg when I finish the one I'm using currently, so any product goes bad. :)

Hoje trago-vos umas comprinhas da Avon, porque recebi a encomenda à uns dias, e quero mostrar-vos aquilo que encomendei para mim, sendo que os mesmos são produtos ou que gosto muito ou que quero experimentar para no futuro fazer uma review aqui no blog. ;)

Today I bring to you an Avon Haul, since I received my package a few days ago, I tought it would be a good idea to show you what I bought for myself, with the tought that I would do a review on the blog in the future ;)

 Bora lá começar com a coisa mais aborrecida, o gel de banho "Mystique" da Avon Senses de 500 ml. Adoro o cheiro e não tenho nada contra, esta linha de geis de banho da Avon é a minha preferida, se pudesse tinha sempre um de todos! ^3^

So let's start with the most boring thing of the entire haul, the Avon's Senses shower gel in "Mystique", 500 ml. I love the scent and have no negative thing to say about this, this line of shower gels from Avon are my favorite, if I could I would have one of each! ^3^

 E agora a maquilhagem, que para mim é o mais interessante! Começamos assim com o quarteto de sombras True Colour em "Mocha Latte". Eu já tinha este produto mas era o quarteto "Stone Taupes" e como gostei da pigmentação, decidi comprar esta em tons de castanho.

And now the make up, that to me is the most interesting thing! So we shall start with the True Colour Eyeshadow Quad in "Mocha Latte". I had already bought this product but in the colour "Stone Taupes" and since the pigmentation was good I decided to buy this one with brown shades.

Acho que encontrei um substituto para aquela sombra de olhos tom champanhe que gosto tanto ;P

I think I found the substitute for that champagne eyeshadow that I love so much :P

Outra coisa que comprei, mas para testar para saber se resultava mesmo ou não, foi o Spray Fixador de Maquilhagem, pois já preciso de um há muito tempo.

The other thing I bought, but to test out to know if it really worked, was the Make up Setting Spray, because I need one for a lon long time.

Até agora já me surpreendeu bastante!

E para acabar, os batons de edição limitada da Colortrend, que devo dizer deixaram-me muito desapontada com as cores. Eu pensava que eram uma coisa e no final vieram outras.

To finish, the Colortrend's limited edition lipsticks, that left me really disappointed with the colours. I thought I was buying one colour but when I opened it, the colours were not similar to the ones in the brochure.
